How to link Google Ads and Google Analytics accounts?

What you need:

You must have Edit permission for the desired Analytics property
You must have administrative access to the desired Google Ads account

(from the official manual: make sure you have “Edit” access to the Analytics property and that your login email in Analytics matches your login email in Google Ads)

Steps (from Analytics):

Step 1: Log in to your Analytics account and click on "Admin"

Step 2: In the Property section, click on Google Ads Linking

Step 3: Select the Google Ads accounts you want to link and click "Continue"

Step 4: Switch All website data to ON and click Link Accounts. Click "Done".

Steps (from Google Ads):

Step 1: Log in to your Google Ads account. Click Tools & Settings -> Linked accounts

Step 2: In the Google Analytics section click "Details"

Step 3: You will see all the available accounts for linking. In the Action column, click on the Link button opposite the account you need.

Step 4: Switch All website data to ON (Link & Import) and click Save. Done
