How to grant access to your Google Tag Manager account?

What you need:

Admin access to the GTM account

Steps:

Step 1: Go to your GTM account page on https://tagmanager.google.com/

Step 2: Find the required account and opposite the container you want, click on the three dots menu. In the dropdown menu select "User management".

Note: If you are already logged into your account - go to the Admin tab and in the Container section click on "User management".

Step 3: Click on the blue circle with a plus sign and select “add users”.

Step 4: Enter the email of the new user, mark the checkboxes for all rights and click invite (you only grant rights to one specific container, not to the entire account, so it's safe)

Done. The invitation is pending now.

How to accept the invitation?

Step 1: Go to your GTM account page on https://tagmanager.google.com/

Step 2: If you have invitations, you will see the corresponding tab ("Invitations"). Click on it

Step 3: Click on the "Accept" button to accept access.

Done. You now have access to the new container.
